Nancy Creighton is the Senior Business Advisor in the Windsor-Essex County area for the Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade working with the regions’ firms to realize opportunities or address threats.  She has worked for all orders of Government in economic development, for an entrepreneurship development organization, an industry association and as a consultant.  She has been a member of regional, provincial and national boards of directors in economic development and human resources and was appointed to the Premier’s Round Table on the Environment and the Economy (NL).  She has been the recipient of numerous awards of excellence and innovation in marketing, economic development and personal achievement. She has gained her experience in North Bay, Thunder Bay, Calgary, St. John’s, Toronto and Windsor and has sector expertise in ocean industries (oil and gas, fishery, shipbuilding), forestry, mining, energy and advanced manufacturing – specifically related to the auto sector. Nancy has a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University.

David Offenbacher joined Export Development Canada (EDC) in March 2008 as the Senior Account Manager when the office in Windsor was opened.   He is responsible for managing a portfolio of strategic accounts as well as working closely with the Sector Teams to develop unique solutions that go beyond the existing product mix to produce new and innovative market outreach approaches. His goal is to build positive relationships for local Windsor companies by becoming a trusted advisor to the client on matters dealing with international trade, finance and risk mitigation. In addition to working for EDC, Mr. Offenbacher has worked as a part-time instructor for the Business Program at the St. Clair College of Applied Arts and Technology and has provided multiple speaker engagements on topics of international trade and EDC’s supporting role to Canadian Businesses.   He has an extensive background in financing; prior to working for EDC he was a Senior Relationship Manager with a leading Canadian Financial institution, with over 20 years’ experience in Commercial banking in a variety of roles.   Mr. Offenbacher attended Western University obtaining an Hons BA and the University of Windsor obtaining his MBA.

Dave Ochs is the Vice President, Business Financial Services for RBC covering the Windsor Essex Lambton Kent market and leading a team of financial services professionals focused on helping small and mid-market Commercial businesses succeed and grow. Previous roles included Capital Markets Corporate Investment Banking, Commercial Relationship Management, Credit Adjudication and Financial Analysis roles throughout Windsor, London, Toronto and Calgary. David has his MBA from the Schulich School of Business and Honours Bachelor of Commerce – Finance & Economics from the University of Windsor. David lives in Tecumseh with his wife Kristy and their four children.

Mary Ann Wenzler-Wiebe, Vice President, Financing & Consulting. Mary Ann looks after the GTA West Area of the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC).  In this role, she leads a team of professionals dedicated to serving Canadian businesses through financing, venture capital and advisory services with a focus on small and medium sized enterprises.  In addition, she is the Regional Sponsor for Ontario Women Entrepreneurs.  She currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Mississauga Board of Trade and One Spark Foundation Board. Before joining BDC, she spent a number of years working in commercial banking in the Windsor area.  Mary Ann is a former director of St. Joe’s Hospital Foundation in London and Board of Governors for Grand River Hospital Foundation.  She has sat on various committees supporting entrepreneurship and automotive growth in Ontario & Canada.

Jason Grech is a Partner in the Windsor office of KPMG with 22 years of experience. His skills include Canadian Tax Compliance, Canadian Tax Consulting, Private Company (KPMG Enterprise) Tax Services, Research and Development Tax Incentives, Tax Accounting and IFRS. Jason helps manage a practice that consists of multidisciplinary teams of engineers, accountants, and tax professionals that assist clients in a wide variety of industries, providing comprehensive tax and incentive solutions. In addition to keeping current with evolving federal and provincial tax laws and regulations, Jason applies his extensive knowledge of tax regulations and business processes to provide tax planning advice.
