The show had many great exhibitors, some of which were new starter companies. It was slow at times, but a lot of people came up to the booth and expressed interest in speaking with me further about partnership and/or membership, and about the association. I will follow up with these leads.
The exhibitors and visitors were from a variety of different industries. Agriculture, Medicine, Robotics. Not too many were industrial automation, but it was a good opportunity to meet and talk to other Industries and markets. I believe Automate Canada should be a part of these markets.
They had a great line of speakers. The crowd was mostly business with a good number of students. There were more students the second day than the first, mostly because the first day was the student pitch competition.
We were fortunate to be a part of the WE-EDC, WE Tech Alliance, St Clair and University section. I feel that we should continue to exhibit and show support for this show.
