JOB SHADOWING
St. Clair College is inviting local employers to join us to offer formalized Job Shadowing opportunities for our students in the
Electromechanical Engineering Technician –Robotics program.
Job Shadowing provides an opportunity to promote job opportunities to students and consider potential hires, while offering students a chance to utilize new skills and training. Job Shadowing positions are unpaid and range from 20-37 hours in total during the semester. Upon approval, WSIB for
student trainees is paid by the Government of Ontario, through the Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU).
St. Clair College Career Services and program faculty will promote your Job Shadowing opportunity to students, and coordinate resumes for interview selection. Participating students will have skills in Industrial Robot Programming, PLC Programming, Machine vision, Electrical design, Quality and Project management. Once a student is chosen, Career Services can assist with determining a schedule that meets the needs of the employer and students.
